The story of Empowwer began in Sweden as the pandemic hit in 2020 – we were flooded with requests for HR advice from friends and acquaintances who lost their jobs and needed to reboot their careers. Overwhelming positive feedback and clients feeling empowered, made us realise that there are many more who need advice from HR professionals.
Since the need was bigger than our time allowed, we created a network of HR professionals and set up a scheduling platform to book video consultations online. We continue to grow so anyone – including you – can have access to HR professionals with real business experience anytime anywhere.
Today, we are based out of Switzerland and our platform connects you with vetted Human Resource Business Partners, Talent Managers, Recruiters and certified coaches. Our network has broad experience from some of the world’s largest multinational companies. Experience and expertise they use to empower you on your journey.
Our coaches are skilled HR professionals with experience from leading companies. All are vetted by us to ensure that they posses the required expertise and share the common goal of creating positive outcome for you.
The coaches work on freelance basis and opens up slots whenever they are available – day or night, weekday or weekend. If you would like to reconnect with a coach that is currently not available, please contact us via chat or message and we will reach out to them.
Yes, in two ways. First, all our coaches have solid experience from blue-chip companies and most multinationals have global ways of working with limited local variations. We can therefore support you across the full employment cycle no matter where you are located. Second, if you have a location specific challenge, i.e. local labour law, you can choose a coach based in your location. If you need more guidance, please let us know and we will support you.
When booking your session you will receive a confirmation email with a video call link. On the date and time of the appointment, click on the link provided in your confirmation email to get connected to the video call. The video call software used is Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
Yes, our platform uses 256-bits SSL encryption and is fully secure. For payment processing we use Stripe, one of the world’s leading payment providers, and we do not have access to your credit card details.
Yes. We take ethical conduct seriously. Our coaches are bound by our privacy policy, and are not allowed to disclose session content. For more information please consult our Privacy Policy.
You can reschedule or cancel your booking until 24 hours before the appointment, free of charge, via the cancellation/rescheduling link in the confirmation email. A payment processing fee of 5%, already charged by our payment provider, will be deducted from refunds as per our Terms of Service.
